Service description

VoxNutshell is a text-to-speech platform that converts written text into AI-generated audio using synthetic voices. The service includes preset voices, voice cloning from uploaded audio, and a REST API for programmatic access.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use VoxNutshell to:

• Generate content that impersonates real individuals without their explicit consent
• Create deepfakes, misinformation, or content intended to deceive
• Produce hate speech, harassment, threats, or illegal content
• Circumvent usage limits through automated means or multiple accounts
• Reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the underlying AI models
• Use the service in violation of any applicable law

Voice cloning policy

Voice cloning is a powerful feature that requires responsible use. By using voice cloning, you confirm that:

• You have explicit consent from the person whose voice you are cloning, or the voice is your own
• You take full legal responsibility for how the cloned voice is used
• You will not use cloned voices for impersonation, fraud, or deception

VoxNutshell is not responsible for misuse of the voice cloning feature. Cloned voices are private and accessible only to the account that created them. We reserve the right to investigate abuse reports and terminate accounts that violate this policy without notice or refund.

Payments and refunds

• Subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. Prices are displayed in EUR.
• You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then.
• No refunds are issued for partially used billing periods or for audio already generated.
• Character allowances reset at the beginning of each billing cycle. Unused characters do not carry over.
• If a payment fails, Stripe will retry automatically. After repeated failures, your subscription may be cancelled and your account downgraded to the Free plan.

Intellectual property

Your content: you retain all rights to the text you input and the audio generated from it. VoxNutshell does not claim ownership of your generated audio.

Our service: the VoxNutshell platform, AI models, preset voices, and brand assets are the property of VoxNutshell and its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them.

Cloned voices: you are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to clone any voice. VoxNutshell does not claim ownership of your cloned voice profiles.

Limitation of liability

VoxNutshell is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, specific audio quality, or that the service will meet all your requirements.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VoxNutshell's liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, particularly the acceptable use and voice cloning policies. In case of termination for violation:

• No refund will be issued
• Your generated audio and cloned voices will be permanently deleted
• Your API keys will be revoked immediately

You may delete your account at any time from Settings.
